Mid Canterbury artists Adele Webb and Jeanette Watts are our April exhibitors, featuring acrylic along with  a watercolour and pastel.

Adele Webb
I came to painting around retirement age about five years ago. It was a now or never moment. A couple of short courses saw me painting mostly landscapes in acrylics and some occasional pastels. It has introduced me to some lovely like-minded people across the country

Jeanette Watts
Around 2014 I became a member of the Ashburton Society of the Arts, opening the door to become more creative and experience the different mediums of art with acrylics being my chosen medium. Being a foundation member of the Rakaia Country Arts allowed me to display my artwork of which I had considerable success with sales over the 18 years the business was operating.
