We are excited to host the Mount Hutt College exhibition PRESSURE.

The Mount Hutt College fourth annual art exhibition brings together student prints and other artworks created under many kinds of pressure. In printmaking, pressure transfers an image from one surface to another, leaving behind a unique impression. For students, pressure also comes from deadlines, assessment requirements and the challenge of turning an idea into a finished work.

Yet creativity is more than something to be measured. It offers space for exploration, enjoyment and personal satisfaction. These works reflect the tension between creating for assessment and creating for pleasure—and show how, under pressure, imagination can leave a lasting impression.
