Christchurch-based artist Carol Moffatt uses the medium of oil to capture the moments that take her breath away, living in a region surrounded  by thrilling landscapes, glorious mountains, dramatic skies, braided rivers and trees.

“I love plein air painting, listening to the sounds around me and feeling the atmosphere helps me capture the essence of the scene.”
